5---The L-shaped support material is 440C with excellent rust resistance and toughness. The heat treatment hardness of 55HRC ensures that the strength and toughness are excellent. Moreover, to solve the problem of easy slippage during the use of the support, a higher-tech square support and square socket are used, which can greatly improve the stability of the support.

Advantages of M390

----M390 steel is the most popular and high-performing material known for excellent sharpness retention and wear resistance. Knives made from M390 will stay sharp for longer, reducing the need for frequent sharpening. This not only saves time but also extends the knife's lifespan. Frequent sharpening can lead to a thicker edge, making the knife harder to use effectively.

----M390 steel offers great sharpness retention and can be hardened to a high level without breaking easily. While it isn’t exceptionally tough, it can be sharpened to a finer edge than many other steels.

----M390 is highly resistant to rust due to its high chromium content, making it relatively stainless compared to other hard steels that retain sharpness but can rust.

The Main Part

Elaborately carved with H62 brass.

Cutter Head

Suitable for Left & Right hands

01. Slotting on the front of the stitching position

Dig a groove about 1/1.5/2mm depth on the front of the stitching position. The specific depth and width are determined according to the thread thickness. Then punch with a chisel and stitch to protect the sewing thread from abrasion.

02. Slotting on the back of the stitching position

Create a 1/1.5/2mm wide groove on the backside of the leather at the sewing position. The specific depth and width are determined according to the thread thickness. Use an edge creaser or bone folder to press the groove.  Punch holes along the groove line.  Sew the pieces together.  Project finished.

Slotting and punching VS Ordinary punch

3. Assist leather edge thinning

First, dig a slot according to the required width, then you can easily use a wide edger or knife to cut an equal width.

04. Slotting in the folded position

The place that needs to be folded first uses the leather groover tool to dig a groove, which can make the folding position more natural.
